How to Share a Notion Template for Read-Only Access
Here’s a step-by-step guide to share your Notion template as a read-only document that others can view but not edit.
1. Open the Template in Notion
- Go to your Notion workspace and open the template you want to share.
2. Share the Template Link
- In the top right corner, click on "Share".
- Toggle on "Share to web" to make the page accessible to anyone with the link.
3. Set Permissions to Read-Only
- Under the sharing options, make sure "Allow editing" is turned off so viewers can only see the content without making any changes.
- (Optional) Toggle "Allow duplicate as template" if you want others to copy the template into their own Notion workspace.
4. Copy and Share the Link
- Click "Copy link" and share this link with anyone you want to view the template.
Your Notion template is now accessible as a read-only document! Viewers can check out your template setup, track their own expenses by duplicating it, and adjust it to fit their needs without altering your original version.
